Monica Stroik's oil paintings are full of rhythm and dance on the canvas! Her work explores the repetitive patterns of daily life and the flow of relationships.
Stroik's pieces would be a great addition to any art collection. Her use of color is dynamic. And her use of line encourages the viewer to take it all in and then look even deeper. Stroik's pieces are so multi-layered; there is always something new to see if you look below the surface. While the repetition of pattern lures the viewer in, there is always a surprise. For instance, in the piece shown above, Fascination, it's the yellow swirl that makes the piece sing. That yellow line is reminiscent of the "monotonous pattern" of daily life, yet reminds the viewer that there is always something fresh and exciting that can be found.
