A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by
the Cafe yesterday to have a cup of joe, see some art, chat with me, and support a great cause.

It was great to be with y'all.

Thank you Julian for so generously letting us use your computer to blog from the show. As you can see, everyone had a great time. And their own favorite piece. (See the picture of the happy blogger)

If you didn't get a chance to stop by yesterday, the show will be up through the month of May. (Yes, it's being extended.) So go see what everyone is talking about.

And since we're extending the show, we're doing another reception on May 20th, from 2-5pm. Come on out and let's have a real party for a great cause.


A special thanks to those of you who bought art yesterday, whether it was mine or the notecards (pictured here) done by the Project Create students. At the top of the display, you can see an original drawing done by one of my students when I taught for Project Create. Giving children the opportunity to create their own works of beauty, and to find ways to express their own true nature is what thrills me so much about teaching the arts in general, and Project Create specifically.
