Evolution of Art: Designing Women Artists' Reception

What a beautiful day to have an art opening! The current exhibit on display at Beanetics is a group show entitled "Designing Women." This show features work by a group of women who have been taking oil painting classes together every Tuesday afternoon for several years. It is clear that this group of artists is more than just colleagues; they are deeply committed to each other and have become family!

Here's what they have to say about their experiences in this group:

We are a group of artists who inspire each other; we have been painting together for many years. We paint as a way to express ourselves; at the same time, we believe we create art that is pleasing to the “eye of the beholder.” We paint to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas about the beauty of the colorful world around us. We like the observer to visit the places or view the objects we paint.
