It's a beautiful autumn afternoon today... sunny, colorful, a touch of crispness in the air! It's the perfect backdrop for this particular art reception... Sharon Safran's "Colors in Bloom."

A lovely crowd is gathering to celebrate this mini-retrospective of a lifelong artist's work. Sharon's  collection on display here at Beanetics includes watercolors, mixed media, and woodcut and intaglio prints.  Sharon brought some of the woodcuts and acid etched plastic pieces that were used to create the prints hanging on the wall across from the coffee counter.

  2. Wonderful to see the colored pencil pieces. Probably the best colored pencil still life works I've seen. (I use colored pencil with acrylics in landscapes).
