Evolution of Art: Reception for Teresa Jones's "Follow the Sun"

WOW! That's what I have to say...

What a sunny, beautiful day it is today! The perfect kind of day to celebrate the debut exhibit for Teresa M. Jones! If you've been to Beanetics this month you can't help but notice the acrylic paintings currently on display. This show of 21 paintings is rich with archetypal, mythological imagery and clear, bright colors.  It is hard to believe this is Teresa's first art show ever! Her work exudes a polished primitivism and elements of folk art, surrealism, and eastern art present in the works of "professional" or "master painters."

The reception ended about an hour ago and was fabulous! Lots of folks stopped by; many of them were Teresa's friends who felt like they had found out a great secret about their friend. Who kew she painted? And so well?

And lest I forget to say it publicly, "Congratulations, Teresa on the sale of four paintings today!"
The following paintings are now sold:
  1. Sun in Motion
  2. Smell the Sun
  3. Hathor
  4. Ship Ahoy
Be sure to stop by and check out this show!
