Come celebrate art and creativity, and hear stories about how these three women inspire each other!
Here's their collective ARTIST STATEMENT:
We are three artists who inspire each other; we have been painting together for 8 years. We paint as a way to express ourselves; at the same time, we believe we create art that is pleasing to the “eye of the beholder.” We paint to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas about the beauty of the colorful world around us. We like the observer to visit the places or view the objects we paint.
On Thursday, July 28th Jennifer assisted these first time exhibiting artists Yolanda Atkins, Cindi Kurtz, and Sabiha Malik in installing their exhibit at Beanetics Coffee Roasters in Annandale, VA.
Jennifer’s told the artists after hanging the show:
“It was a joy being with you all today. Thank you so much for your generosity of spirit and for making the job of hanging the show fun and easy! I look forward to working with all of you to create a very successful show!”
Cindi commented on the thrill of hanging her first exhibition:
“I (too) am quite excited to be a part of this! We had so much fun with Jennifer on Thursday hanging our art.”
The show will be on display at Beanetics Coffee Roasters through Friday, September 2nd. Be sure to stop by on Sunday, August 21st from 2-4pm for our Artists' Reception.
